So yes I realize we are on one income but geez my carpets are a disaster. I guess I could have paid someone to come in and clean them but what happens when they get dirty again. So I went to the exchange on base to check out steam cleaners. I pulled out the VISA and bought a Hoover steam cleaner on sale and some soap for it. It was the best $130 I have spent in a long time. I cleaned Linda's room this morning and oh my what a difference. Her room smells better, all the dirty spots are gone and it looks better. A professional would have charged me $300 plus just for the downstairs. And no I have not tackled the living room yet. However I am getting the hang of it and it is so refreshing to have the carpets getting cleaned. Now if I could just convince Chris its is his job LOL.
Actually Chris is out helping the neighbor stain the fence both theirs and ours so can't beat that. The neighbor has a sprayer and Chris just has to provide labor the neighbor paid for the stain. And it will look so nice when its done. Not a bad deal. So all in all a productive weekend. Clean carpets and a pretty fence, LOL.
