Our exciting Saturday

So today was exciting but not in a good way.  We took Chris to the ER thinking he had pulled a back muscle or something of the sort.  The ER doc thought kidney stones or gall stones.  So they did a CT scan of his abdomen and took some blood.  That came back empty.  So they did another blood draw.  That came back elevated.  So they did another CT scan.  This was about 3pm today.  We started at about 10am today.  So at 330pm I got a phone call from Chris.  He has blood clots in his right lung.  They were moving him to another hospital.  Well at about 5pm they moved him to another campus of the same hospital.  He is in the ICU/CCU since he is at risk if he falls.  He is on blood thinners to help dissolve the blood clots.  We are praying he comes home Monday.  But as of yet we aren't sure.  We are so very thankful to God that he choose to save him.  We are truly blessed.  We are still scared and worries (more me than him it would seem).  But he should be fine.  He will be on blood thinners for the next 6 months at least with daily blood draws.  He could be on them for life :(.  My poor hubby!
